Switzerlands Pulver was founded in 2000 by Inga and her husband V.O. Pulver.

Together with bassist Franky, V.O. (ex Poltergeist) also plays in the Swiss-Metal-Institution GurD .

The lineup is completed by drummer Steve, who played in the legendary Swiss Thrash pioneers Messiah. He is the replacement for Norm (Fear My Thoughts), who has played with Pulver for the last years and also recorded the drums on their debut.

Musically, Pulver combines heavy, doomy riffs with a stunning, strong female voice and complex rhythms to take Metal to a new dimension.

The band was working on and off on their debut album at the Little Creek studio under the aegis of V.O. for the last three years and played their first shows in their native country.

Steve had his baptism of fire on july 2 nd, when Pulver shared the stage with Ministry at the famous Z7 club in Pratteln/Switzerland.

In 2008, they started their own Label LC Records and with Nonstop Music for Switzerland and Twilight Distribution for the rest of the world, they found the right partners in crime to distribute their debut.

Meanwhile, there was another change on the drums: ex-GurD Drummer Tschibu joined the fold and the legendary swiss-precision-machine is now in charge of the beat. Also the guitar departement got a huge boost as ex-Pure Inc. guitarist Sandro Pellegrini joined PULVER to enhance the stringpower to it's extremes! togehter they're working on new material, which should be printed to tape (YES, 2" TAPE!!) towards the end of 2011.

But before this, PULVER will be rocking in front of thousands of people at the legendary JKF festival in Basel.
